ATS48C21Q Schneider Electric Original Altistart 48 Series 210A Soft Starter for Industrial Motor Starting Applications

The Schneider Electric ATS48C21Q is an original Altistart 48 series soft starter rated at 210A, engineered for controlled acceleration and deceleration of three-phase asynchronous motors. By progressively ramping voltage through back-to-back thyristors, the ATS48C21Q eliminates destructive inrush currents and reduces mechanical shock on couplings, belts, and driven equipment during every start cycle.
Designed for heavy-duty industrial environments, the ATS48C21Q supports both 2-wire and 3-wire control configurations and includes integrated motor thermal protection, phase loss detection, and rotor lock monitoring. The built-in bypass contactor control automatically switches to direct line operation after startup, minimizing thyristor heat dissipation and improving overall system energy efficiency.
The soft starter features an onboard Modbus RTU communication port for seamless integration into PLC and SCADA networks. Replacing a failed unit with a genuine Schneider Electric ATS48C21Q restores full soft-start performance, extends motor service life, and ensures compliance with original equipment specifications without additional configuration.
