The ABB AX18-30-10-85 is a modular AC contactor in the ABB AX series, designed for high cost-performance industrial control scenarios. This product is specially designed for frequently started and stopped small and medium-sized three-phase motors, lighting circuits and heating equipment. With its compact structure, low-power DC coil and excellent electrical life, it has become an ideal choice in modern automation systems.

This model has a rated working current of 18 amperes (AC-3 category, under 400V conditions), is equipped with three sets of main contacts, and has no auxiliary contacts. The control coil voltage is 24V DC (DC 24V), and it is suitable for direct interface with PLC, relay modules or low-voltage control systems.

High-performance core features

AX18-30-10-85 is made of silver alloy contact material, featuring excellent arc resistance and electrical conductivity stability. It can achieve an electrical operation life of over one million times under the standard AC-3 usage category. Its mechanical structure has been optimized, and its mechanical life can reach over 15 million times. Even in high-temperature, high-humidity or dusty industrial environments, it still maintains stable and reliable switching performance.

Thanks to ABB's EcoCoil™ energy-saving technology, the DC coil of this contactor consumes only about 5 watts of power during the engagement stage. After entering the holding state, the power consumption drops to around 1.2 watts, significantly reducing the energy consumption of the control circuit, while also reducing heat generation and improving the overall energy efficiency of the system.
