The ABB DI803 is an 8-channel AC digital input module in the AC 800M distributed control system, specifically developed for direct access to the 230V AC control loop signal. This module can safely and reliably collect 220-240 V AC field discrete signals from circuit breaker auxiliary contacts, contactor status, motor protection relay alarms, lighting control switches, etc., without the need for additional intermediate relays or signal isolators, significantly simplifying the system architecture and enhancing reliability.

The DI803 features a channel isolation level of up to 2500V AC, an integrated anti-interference filter circuit, and wide voltage adaptability. It is suitable for industrial sites with large grid fluctuations and complex electromagnetic environments, and is an ideal I/O solution for power substations, water plant pumping stations, large HVAC systems, and old factory renovation projects.
