ABB LTC391AE01 is a Local Terminal Controller specially designed for the UNITROL® 6000 and UNITROL® 6800 series digital excitation systems. As the core human-machine interaction (HMI) interface between the operation personnel and the excitation system. This device offers local operation, parameter display, alarm management and manual control functions, ensuring that the excitation system can still be operated safely and efficiently during remote communication interruption or debugging and maintenance.

Installation and Usage instructions
Mechanical installation
Make a hole of 138 × 138 mm in the control cabinet door panel.
Insert the LTC391AE01 from the front and lock it with a snap at the back.
Install the sealing gasket to ensure IP65 protection.
Electrical connection
Connect to the LTC interface of the main control board of the excitation system (PSC391) using shielded twisted-pair cables.
The power supply is provided by the 24V DC bus inside the excitation system (no external power supply is required).
