CA5-01 ABB Thermal overload relay Provide reliable motor protection
ABB CA5-01 is a thermal overload relay in the ABB CA5 series specifically designed for extremely small power three-phase asynchronous motors, with a rated working current range of 0.1A to 1.6A. This product integrates one normally open (NO) auxiliary contact and features dual protection functions of overload and phase loss. It is suitable for control cabinet applications with high requirements for space and precision. The CA5-01 can be flexibly combined with ABB A series or AF series contactors to form a compact motor starting protection unit, which is widely used in automation equipment, building systems and OEM complete sets of equipment.
Typical application scenarios
Industrial automation
It is used for the starting, stopping and protection of medium-voltage motors, such as water pumps, fans, compressors and other equipment.
Power transmission and distribution
Load switching and protection in scenarios such as medium-voltage switch cabinets and substations.
Energy and infrastructure
Auxiliary control of photovoltaic inverters, pumping stations of water treatment plants, and backup power switching systems.
OEM equipment integration
As a standard component embedded in the OEM control cabinet, it enhances the reliability of the entire machine.
