The HiC2025 is a classic model in the Hi series isolation barrier from Pepperl+Fuchs, Germany. It is designed to provide intrinsically safe power and signal isolation for two-wire smart transmitters (supporting HART/BRAIN protocols) in hazardous locations such as Zone 0, Zone 1, and Zone 2. It converts 24 V DC loop power into a safe 4-20 mA signal and provides 2.5 kV three-way isolation (input, output, and power) between the hazardous and safe areas of the field, ensuring reliable system operation and the safety of personnel and equipment.
