Product Overview
The Allen-Bradley 1783-BMS10CGN is a rugged, fully managed layer-2 switch from the Stratix 5700 family, delivering enterprise-class functionality in an industrial-grade package. With eight 10/100/1000 RJ-45 copper ports plus two combo Gigabit SFP uplinks, the switch provides the bandwidth and flexibility required for high-speed I/O, motion, and safety networks on the plant floor. Embedded CIP Sync (IEEE-1588) and Resilient Ethernet Protocol (REP) ensure deterministic control and sub-second recovery for Allen-Bradley CompactLogix, GuardLogix and ControlLogix PACs.
